if you plumb in a manual return after the regulator, you can have agitation. if i remember correctly, you want it after the electric regulator. but then you need to put your manual pressure gauge between the return and the boom. just to make sure you have the correct pressure to the nozzles. This also helps the pump, especially if its electric. wont be turning on/off all the time.

edit. i see the hydraulic pump now. you dont want to deadhead that pump.
