If you moved your cows back a month why would you have a wreck getting them bred on time?

Should be better off, you are not asking much out of them.



Get out of your parents basement and go look at some cows that raise big calves. Unless your cows are raising dinks, moving them back a month that first year could end up with more open cows than you're used to because those calves are 100lbs bigger and pulling the cows down.

And to the OP, if your cows are calving May 1 why would you continue to calve your heifers at the usually March time frame you have been doing? Wouldn't you move them a month back also?
