Hes right about areas of Ne abandoning NH3, mine is one of them, almost not NH3 sold anymore, last I talked to the Coop, only 2 guys bought it last year. Even when it was used, almost none of it was fall applied, either preplant or sidedressed, we stopped when we went from ridgetill to notill, cant keep the tanks from running over corn on our sidehills without the ridges, also we needed to update our equipment and I cant be around the stuff at all, so it was an easy choice for us. Been having it sprayed on or the last couple years broadcast on as dry, still grow darn good corn for the area, we are building a liquid sidedress bar, don't like having the N sitting on top of the ground and hoping for a rain, even with the stabilizers you have to lose some when its hot and dry and the wind is blowing for a week or more.
