Subject: RE: Plainville Livestock Kansas files bankruptcy

NC Kansas
The guy was caught by P & S having short funds in the custodial account three times the first being back in 2012?ish. All kinds of stories of checks bouncing a year in advance of all this randomly as he was shuffling money around. There was a producer locally that got a hot check that was made right later, but then took calves back to plainville the year after. Why?? Heard he was using custodial money to buy cows on his name. Wherever it was going idk but it wasn't the first time coming up short. After third offense P&S should have sent him to prison. The owner knew what he was doing was wrong. The bank collected on what they could until bankruptcy court sorts it out. I feel for these producers, not getting paid on calves can break a farm. But on the other hand, anyone within a hundred mi knew this guy was a crook, and when you do business with a crook sometimes you get **** on.
