NC KS | If I understood the article right, someone at salebarn transferred money out of the account that the seller's checks were wrote against. This transfer happened after buyer's checks were deposited. Bank has to answer to customers also. I don't think there is a bank around that would automatically cover that size of overdraft unless lots of good unencumbered collateral was secured and lots of communication.
The real question is where did that money go? Who has it now? Who did the transfer? Who allowed transfer to happen? | |
