3.50 November corn x 200 = 700 gross per acre. Would a thousand an acre be enough? 1200? Some people work 2 weeks for 1000 dollars.
Depends on the year. Gross doesnt mean much. Can you guarantee 200 bushel corn? $3.50 corn is going to be on the low end this year. IMO corn will be closer to $4 with the late planting and other weather issues. I hate to admit this, but I dont watch the fundamentals or technicals. I look at my breakevens as well as the hand Im dealt and go from there. The rest IMO is just noise. |
