NC Indiana | Finally got to work the tractor a bit today and found a couple more issues.
Despite the black smoke under load it seems underpowered, almost like it has a miss up to 1500rpm or so. To check the screen at bottom of tank do we need to drain the tank first?
We have it hooked to a 30' finisher. At first the remotes worked fine, but after running it a bit the #2 remote will only lift about halfway and then squeal from the valve and not go any farther. Going in the other direction doesn't seem to have much pressure at all and squeals also. Do we need to adjust relief pressure or ?
Brake pads are shot. Looks like they can be changed without pulling caliper? Is there a trick to compress the pistons?
Haven't had time to work on the rear main or overhead yet, but got a lot of the electrical figured out. | |
