Casey, I'm not good enough to bluff you into thinking I understand what you are saying.  I got real lucky; Harry said something about "Restart your computer" - now there is a guy reaching down to me at my level, I understand that much - and it did work.  The drive was available on the laptop, I got the software installed and the on-line update installed.  Thanks Harry, inspite of a little (actually, very little) kidding, I really do appreciate the help.  Windows does not always tell me when I need to restart the computer.

But, I really want to understand what your saying Casey, I might not be so lucky the next time.  Please tell me about mapping the drives.  Am I wrong in thinking you are talking cmd line prompt?  For future reference, where/how do I start mapping the drives?  Is entering that all I need to do?

Thank you both!
