Southeast Colorado
That Republican river basin up north is way more regulated. I believe around here our water district just kind of takes care of keeping everything on the up and up. It kind of works like Wheat1 is talking about below. However..............lots of folks have meters.........and I probably shouldn't be proclaiming on a public forum that I don't. Oh well. I'd still like to get this figured out. I actually have a couple of meters but one isn't installed right now after switching to a smaller submersible............and the other seems to work pretty erratic. I've noticed several others not working on people's wells too. They are all the propeller type so I was definitely trying to avoid that.
