I would like to put water meters on several irrigation wells, or what's the best way to measure gpm?

Senninger ag rotor is your friend. You can buy a saddle mount, or if you're up to it can weld bungs on cheaper. It has a shorter upstream/downstream tolerance, so can mount it on the riser pipe of about any system without needing straightening vanes. It's also simple, no brass bushings to wear out etc like mccrometer, just a magnet and sensor. It only takes about a 2 inch hole to slide in through the bung, you could put a gasket and plate over it when moving to another pivot. Our NRD requires a meter on every well now, we were using mccrometer for a few years and switched to these for the past 4-5 years. If I recall the agrotor was around $8-850 and the mccrometer was 1400+ last time I checked.
