| Maybe you misunderstood my premise.....on cancellations.
How is it that the trading world allows china to blantantly abuse the contract process,,,ie....short of “Force Majure”, why does everyone allow this to continue? This argument has nothing to do with the timing of reporting,,,I am speaking in general terms.
Sure I am ready to manage risk......but the way this trade war seems to be working....when the price that you can “manage” is below your Variable costs..ie inputs...what’s the solution then? What happens a year from now and we still have an unsettled trade war,,,,commodity prices are lower and inputs are higher than now? Should we be attempting to be commodity “growers” or simply commodity “traders” ?
I am simply stating we need SMARTER TRADE NEGOTIATORS then what we currently have. All normal by the book economic rules simply don’t apply with china,,,,need smarts.
