| To be fair, you can cherry-pick just about any statistic out there to make a state, and its law-makers, look bad.
For instance, the ten poorest states in our country:
Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, West Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Arizona, and Georgia.
