South Central Iowa | Your kids need to get a degree. I’ll be blunt; in this day and age, if you don’t have a degree, people will look down on you and think you must be a moron. Is what it is. A lot of jobs that shouldn’t require a degree do just because they are so numerous. Even the lowliest of laminate doors will close in their face without one.
Get a trade while at college. I recommend masonry. There are no bricklayers anymore. Just work under someone. Bricklayers make bank, $700-$1,000 a day. Hard work.
