Cutting edge knowledge may change, and somewhat rapidly but the basics of a higher education don’t. Things like math, physics, chemistry, psychology, communication etc are still as relevant as ever. Even if you are going for a Votech education some background in these subjects is going to be valuable.
I will disagree with you, sort of. Those are things that should be learned in high school. To me high school is where a person should be getting their generic education, that is what we pay taxes for after all. Thats just basic education and kids shouldn't have to pay thousands for that when they are trying to better themselves and get ready to be in the real world. |
