Please don't take this as a racist post, but in my opinion, if you children are white males, they are going to be at a severe disadvantage when it comes to applying for a job that requires a bachelor or master's degree. Over the last 10 to 15 years companies have filled most positions with needed college graduates. Most of them have been white males. Now companies are looking for diversity. Many have been targeted in negative PR campaigns for not having enough diversity. Therefore, another white Male to fill a position would be the hire of last resort in my opinion. If your child is going into a very specific field like brain surgery for example, then the above probably won't apply. But for a general bachelors degree in something like business, finance, HR, etc. Then I think it is a strong possibility the above applies.

I would recommend sending your children to a HVAC school, electrician, plumber, automotive computer type school, even electronic repair in the ag industry. I particularly like any type of trade that is licensed by state government. Those types of career fields won't be flooded by every Joe Smoe with a pickup truck. I use the lawn industry as an example. Anyone with a vehicle that has a hitch can buy a small trailer and a 48 inch lawn mower and viola, they are in the lawn business and now provide you competition. Plumbers, electricians, HVAC folks don't have that problem due to the certification and licensing process.
