You are over analyzing things when you say you lose strength. Holy smokes, if you have no more faith in Morton than that, put up another brand. It will still be insurable either way
I WD put tyvek between if you're worried. I WD definitely put it on the roof to eliminate sweating. We didn't and horrible mistake
