Things have changed , a lot. Even if it was a 500 head building it would be hard to turn a decent profit. Then the risk of losing $10-$20 per head could turn it into an expensive education. If he has never raised hogs before he should try to find a neighbor with buildings he could work in. Preferably buildings just like or similar to what he might build.
