Anyone have a clue on his profit potential of being this small time of an owner operator grower?
0 or more like an expensive hobby that will end with him having a 50 year supply of pork for himself and no money. A good way to starve yourself. At least with a contract building you get a couple crumbs brushed your way every once in a while.
But that's all he'll be doing is buying himself a job for 20 years complete with a boss and upper management. It may look good now, but all it takes is one personel change or decision from the top that can upset your life or make you hate every day and all you can do is smile and take it because you have a banker to please.
If there was money in finishing hogs why do you think the big boys don't do it themselves? They do everything else now. |
