No. Number 1, believe it or not, a lot of people can set aside their personal beliefs and rationally look at a subject. Number 2, most people are more varied than Numbers and go on to talk about other issues unrelated to the prior subject. For him it is constant soybeans, China, Trump. That's all.

Most people can't set aside their personal beliefs because they believe that beliefs are like oil and water and cannot easily intermingle. There is a "right" (my belief) and "wrong" (your belief). This is the true problem with American thought process. | |
