It's because I called him out. He was trying to hide behind a veneer of "objectivity". So it's old Conan's fault.
The only thing Numbers could do to avert politics is refrain from talking about soybeans. He can talk dairy or corn or pork or any of the multitude of random other asides we talk about on here. But everyone knows when it comes to soybeans, his purpose of posting is political; regardless of if it is directly stated.
Some people lack the power of inference apparently.
