What good is having the FSA open if you can't do anything?

Interesting Paul, I mentioned the same thing a few weeks back in a thread about fsa beginning farm loans. The amount a beg farmer can borrow was just raised from 300k to 600k. I dont see how it is any different than giving out student loans; those surely havent affected college tuition rates?


I get what you’re saying on the subject, but I don’t think there’s enough beginners using the program for it to really be having that big of an effect on land prices, atleast here anyways. Unless the old guys are getting their kids to use the program to get the ground for them. Crop insurance is more to blame on prices here.
