The easiest transition would be to spray a hay field in the fall and notill corn into it in the spring. The dirt will be nice and mellow and closing the
seed trench should be easy. Not familiar with international planter closing system but believe they have disks that will toss dirt over trench. When you
think it is dry enough to plant wait 1 more or 2 daysif possible to plant.
