And maybe its more of a here thing, but each year is different. In 16 my corn in a good zone rooted down to 32-36" and the poor zone was 24-28". This year we were more wet earlier and corn rooted down much shallower, like16-28". I just dont think i would have known that using watermarks spaced 12" apart. I only have 1 field with 3 probes and bases other fields off that one. Maybe it would be better to have water marks im every field. IDK?
