Floyd County, Iowa | We've tried lignon (tree sap based), but went back to mag chloride. It stays much better than lignon, but a little more $.
The lignon washes away quickly with any rain. For decent control, we'd have to have it treated twice as often.
The best results we had was with something soy oil based, but the applicator quit handling it because it got too expensive, so he now only offers lignon and mag chlor. I'd pay more for the soy oil based stuff, but apparently not enough of his customers are willing to do the same. | |
