NEIA
Our county lets us use calcium chloride or tree sap. Local coops apply or you can do yourself. We use calcium chloride pellets or more commonly known as ice melt that you can buy at a hardware outlet like Menards. I use #50 per 50 ft. Simple lawn fertilizer spreader works. The humidity in the air will activate it. Wear jeans and rubber boots though as it will burn skin if irritated. Don't ask how I know. We have to get a permit from the county to apply. I would like to use tree sap but don't have a cheap source.
