I live in the country, on the north side of a gravel road . And I'm not a "town dope" bitching about living here (hey, I even raise corn and beans- does that entitle me to live in the country??).
But I do like to sit out on the patio and sip a cold one at the end of the day, without getting covered with dust. And we like to open the windows on some nice days, without everything in the house getting covered with dust.
So, we have a 400' stretch of the road in front of the house treated in May and July. I guess we're just not the type of people that think we have to be dirty all the time to consider ourselves farmers. Heck, we even take our shoes off when coming in the house. | |
