Every operation can find ways to be more efficient. We strive to do that daily. We were 6 row machine and one tandem 4 years ago. We all work jobs off the farm and find time to get a crop out and expand. We chose to do custom and match our machines with our trucking to keep moving and allow us to work doing what we like. If you were young and watched guys with 11000 acres not unload on the go and only run two trucks you would shake you head too. Im really unsure who is gonna do it all here in 10 years the big have run off all the youth. And we run a class 7 combine now so I know its output. If you cant keep up at all why run one. I'm not talking about smaller operators which I would still consider our farm. 3 guys 1000 acres of our own yeah were a big fish. One leg at a time too I just work a lot more than the average person and that's how you get ahead. You can have the same payments I do. We all have a 24 hour day choose how you use it.
