Southeast Colorado | My daughter works in a county govt. job (they're still open). They get paid once a month and every year before Thanksgiving they get their paycheck for December 1st early for Christmas shopping. She says that by the time January 1st comes around that all of the employees are really crying saying they are about to starve. This year the bosses were going to just wait and pay them on December 1st and all the employees cried so much that they went ahead and paid them a week early again. My daughter is really good with money and it drives her nuts! | |
