North Central Illinois | Like many of us farmers I suspect you don’t know what it is like to work for an actual paycheck. I’m not saying it’s good, bad, or indifferent. We are used to long periods with no income but we adapt and have reserves to work around the situation. Sadly, a very large portion of the middle class and below literally lives paycheck to paycheck. Many families have no savings. This ultimately comes back to personal responsibility or lack there of in many cases. We can’t blame Trump for that dynamic but when you cut off the income of someone in that situation it gets real very quick. Nobody is going to get foreclosed on because of this unless they were already several months behind. | |
