Fayette Co, Iowa | Im in that area of northeast Iowa also where I have farmers around me that pound there chest ( look how much I farm) 350.00 rent for average dirt in 30 acre pieces.. They lock in a 3 yr deal, deplete the soil fertility and move on leaving the renter with low fertility... My three landlords (all elderly) get my fertility maps, yield maps, and that way they know im keeping the fertility up. On that note.. My banker told me 240.00 to 250.00 rent for 80 csr dirt, god fertility, and well drained.... Considering 200 plus corn, 50 plus beans would be plenty for rent …..
