That is how we do it, cow guy gets cash usually 1250-1500 with a live calf at 4-5 months if embryo calf. Put egg in and turn out with clean up bull. Should still be a tight calving period. Why would u want his genetics if he does not want it? To me would be worth the hassle for 2x sale barn calf.
