I spent 3 years using my cows as donor cows for a large semen company. The problem with doing the embryo deal is all the open cows. It works ok if you can get 50%-60% of them to stick, but the year that you only get 20% of them will kill you. My experience is a fair amount of calves that will not make it to term and you are left will a good amount of cows that get bred 3 months later.
