King City, Mo | We have 2 ground source units in our house new construction 2012.
We have 4 zones.
The zoning makes it more efficient as if an area is hot/cold it only runs when needed.
So our bonus room and basement are shut off. The main floor we also have a propane fire place with a thermo, so we use it and it keeps the furnace
From running as much of we keep bed room doors shut, if just grandma watching our youngest why heat the unused space.
It’s more about how air tight your house is. We have spray foam so it’s good.
