Case Ih engineer who thought using a starter motor for the reverser was a good idea.
Case Ih engineer who thought mounting the motor like it is. Turning the motor 90 degrees would give so much more room to work on things. They already use a gearbox to transmit power so that is not the issue.
Which engineer do you want to get a hold of?
