The jd engineer who put the motor so close to the rotor belt and the steps leading down into the hole to the rotor belt and also all of the shielding that has to be removed with bolts if you have to access the engine cooling fan on the s series combine and the valve that controls the engine fan belt is under the front side of the engine it could have been easily put any where else but there
