East Central SD | Last year I faced the decision on used or barely used. I went newer than I had originally planned based on this scenario. I was looking at a 12-15 year old tractor that I would probably run for 10 years. I ended up buying a 4 year old tractor that I can run for 20 years. Yes, I paid more on the front end, but it seems that it always costs more to update than I think it should. In my mind, the fewer times I trade, the better. And of course, I was able to get more modern features in the newer machine. | |
