Paradise KS | I’m needing another tractor to pull drill/planter and hay work. Been looking at used tractors in the 50,000 range. Interest rates have gone up. A payment on a tractor of this price on a 5 year note would be almost 12,000 a year. (No down payment or trade). I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new tractor for a few thousand more a year payment, but it would be a 7 year payment at 0% interest.
It’s an attractive deal, warranty, has all the stuff I need, full options. But spending quite a bit more overall and would depreciate much faster.
Would probably put 400 hours or so on it either way. | |
