I want to load fertilizer out of my dump trailer directly into my fertilizer buggy, does anyone use a truck auger for this? I found a cheap used 10x31 Westfield with an electric motor mount with no motor. Was thinking about putting a hydraulic motor on it so I can just leave the auger anywhere in the field and use the tractors extra outlets to run the auger while the buggy is under it. Has anyone ever done this? Also, how big of a hydraulic motor do you think this would take?
