Western ND
Yes, have for quite a few years. First on an 8"x3?' until a tornado got that one and now on a 8"x28' Westfield that was electric drive when we bought it from the elevator when they closed. Same hydraulic motor. Use it to load urea out of a hopper bin to the spreader in the spring and to load out bins to the semi in the winter. I dont know the size but I think dad got the motor out of Surplus Center many years ago. Just a mount plate and a coupler to the shaft, some hose which we had around from pulling a press drill behind a field cultivator years ago. Maybe 8 minutes or so to load a 6 ton spreader. Have used quite a range of tractors and the backhoe to run it. Doesn't take much. But handy to pull in with the spreader, 2 lines and kick the remote in. Have cattle so there is at least 2 tractors running every day to feed in the winter so we dont have to start anything special to load trucks in the winter either.
