Southeast Colorado | Depends on how many wraps per bale. We use 3 to 4 wraps depending on the crop inside. Cost is just under a dollar per wrap for the good cover edge stuff from John Deere. There is definitely a difference in the durability between brands. The cheap stuff is fine if you plan to use the hay up within 6 months or so. That obviously depends on your weather. Snow and ice is tough on the stuff.
Probably more than you ever wanted to know about net wrap but long story short.......... $2 to $3/bale for the cheap and $3 to $4/bale for the better. | |
