South east Saskatchewan | As far as I know Canadian lumber exported into the US has a 20 % tariff. Steel is at 25%. Aluminum is at 10%. The exporter pays this to the US govt but in turns raises the price of the goods to recoup the losses from the tariff increase. This price increase has hit north of the border as well as many ag related goods are made in the US, so we are all paying the tariff.
