Last year I attended two dealer open houses in the spring and made a mental note what the first dealer was charging for their net wrap during their parts special. Went to the second dealer's open house and looked at their price and thought, hmm, am I remembering the first dealer's price right or did I juxtapose numbers in my head. I went back to the first dealer to get some additional parts for a tractor and asked about the price again. I did have the number right. They were slightly over $100/roll higher for the same brand of netwrap. I told the parts guy that his boss better hope his local customers didn't call the second dealer or they're going to wonder how bad are they being gouged on the rest of the stuff. $100/roll difference is just stupid. | |
