n.c.iowa
We are predominately ford poeple.
Wife has a 1500 ram mega cab or whatever they call the large four door cab, with the 5.7, it's been a very pleasant vehicle to own, not pulling anything it'll run 18-23 mpg all week long, hand calculated, not going by the lie-o-meter on the dash, pulling double 1450 NH3 tanks it'll run about 5-6 mpg, but has all the grunt you need.

She's got about 60,000 on it now and other than a couple recalls for software updates, tire replacement and regular oil changes it's never been in the shop.

Was riding with our local livestock specialist yesterday, she has a GM 1500 about a 2014 model got about 60,000 miles on it.
She took us on a little trip of about 30 miles, and in that little trip there were no short of 5 different warnings,( air bag, a couple of engines warnings, abs, and something else) also the passenger window wouldn't roll down.

I after a bit I must have laughed out loud and she asked what I was laughing about, I said I was just musing to myself about how nice it was that some things don't change, telling her my experiences with gm products, she then cut loose about how big a pos this vehicle was and about all the problems.

This pickup is professionally serviced, kept under a roof when not being driven, and the biggest load it has ever had on it is a half ton of pellets.
