2014. Only truck i ever bought new. Gas tank vent solenoid every 20 k even after factory relocation kit. O2 and then map sensor..... no big deal. Then front balljoints ( lower) at 80k. Then the afm lifter ordeal right at 100k. Dang thing isnt even paid off yet and cant even drive it. Definatley bummed.
Dang that sucks, I hate hearing that, they really didn't need to put AFM on those trucks, you can get a pretty cheap chip from Superchips that will allow you to disable the AFM.
Both my grandpas drive AFM chevs, one is an 09, and one is a 12, neither have had issues, one of them has over 160K on it. Although my brother had a 12 tahoe, and it ended up being an engine replacement to get it right (bought it used) |
