Central Illinois | I was working in the brush on a wednesday, found 2 deer ticks stuck to me on thursday, and was too sick to get out of bed by sunday, so for my personal experience everything happened pretty quick. I tested negative for lymes on two different occasions at my local doctor. To me it was a no brainer that it was lymes, thats just too coincedental to have 2 deer ticks stuck to you followed by being terribly sick. Doctors kept saying no the test is negative it cant by lymes. Luckily my wife is a nerd and started doing her own research and found out that we needed to see an LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor.) That's what turned it around for us. I guess lymes is a very controversial topic in the medical world. Regular MD's are not trained nearly enough or the way they're supposed to be when it comes to lymes. My advice to anyone who thinks they might have lymes is find an LLMD not a regular doctor. | |
