Lincoln County MO | I had good luck with FCS. I received my first loan to get "started" - buy pairs, tractor, trailer.... When I upgraded tractors, I just called him and the money in my account the next day. I do have a good credit score and off the farm job. I inquired recently about another loan to increase the herd number and was approved verbally, but never went down to sign the papers. I don't want anther payment and since started getting frugal to save some cash. I pay my note on time/ahead of time and extra, even if it is only $20. There is a lot of good information in this post and Agtalk /in general about pros and cons of borrowing. No two farms are the same. Good luck on your outcome/loan. | |
