The Mediterranean Diet is good for incorporating the right type of fats into your diet and fruits and vegetables. From your post in the Cafe, it looks like you have other health issues too, with weight and diabetes. Ask the doctor for a referral to a dietitian- if you have diabetes the visit should be covered by Medicare. Then you can come up with a plan that works for you that you can live with. Making lifestyle changes you can live with is the key. | |
