Subject: RE: Christiansen farms

Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS

A bit off the subject, but I think too many "truck drivers" are just following the GPS. I few years ago I was driving on the Natchez Trace Parkway, which absolutely prohibits commercial vehicles of any kind. First thing I know I'm meeting an 18 wheeler going in the opposite direction. Couple miles later I met a Park Ranger who was headed in the same direction as the truck. My thought was that "non-English speaker/reader" is about to be in very deep manure. I mentioned this to my truck driver nephew and he said, "Yeah, lots of steering wheel holders out there can't read a map or speak English." The speed limit on that road is 50 mph and the Rangers are authorized to write tickets for 51 mph. They have zero tolerance.
