It just befuddles me.

A few years ago our local coops thought hiring Ukrainians was the way. So there was a guy that imported Ukrainian workers provided lodging, training, etc. etc..

Our local coop hired on three of them the first year, worked out pretty good, except for the fact that two out of the three had gone back to the Ukraine by September. But they all where pretty good workers. They all had a pretty good command of English, and were trained pretty good as cdl holders.

The next year it was a different story, they weren’t as motivated as the first batch, and they barely had command of the English language. But their trucking skills were minimal at best, they wrecked several trailers and tractors.

The real kicker was then that one of them decided after wrecking a 32% trailer( actually backed the trailer into the ditch, missing the driveway by a 100ft.he kinda got a talking to, called the guy that brought him into the country that this fellow just wasn't working out.) decided he was gonna sue the coop for harrassment and discrimination.

Don’t think much came from it, but no more Ukrainians.
