| Nope, not running any implements through the can bus plug. I always start the tractor first, then AL display But I’ve tried AL display first then tractor and it’s the same result.
For the random amounts of time the auto steer does work, as soon as you hit the auto steer button on the command arm the machine steers left and right really hard and you have to grab the steering wheel to kick it out. I’ve tried lowering the line acquisition setting but regardless of the setting it still steers hard. If you engage auto steer within 3 inches of the track it will steer normal.
I think there’s something going on on the tractor side but I’ve had the local John Deere (RDO Equipment) mechanic out twice now and as soon as they see a GPS that isn’t a green star they say they can’t help and “something is wrong with your GPS” | |
